I bought the box set in Australia cheaper than Amazon. I like a Westerner, and thought that a good design HBO, but the threads are pulled out to length intolerable, and the acting is terrible.

Deadwood was made by a group of people who could not understand how to express himself without using very vulgar language, in almost every scene.

We read many positive reviews on this DVD, we decided to show off and buy the complete set. What a mistake! We saw 15 minutes of the first episode, and went out. We do not understand these people who rave about how the script is wonderful, etc., etc. If you took out all the dirty words, there would be a silent film. only shows you the intelligence to write a screenplay these days. We used some bad language in movies, but this went far beyond the edge. Would you send me a time machine back to the old west to prove to me talking like this the whole time, heard some more words that I doubt they were in English then. I learned an expensive lesson, read all the comments! Although there seems to be a large number of people who enjoyed the series, it is unfortunate that their vocabulary is so limited.

I am a former U.S. Marine, so I’m a bit ‘ignorant foul language. But come on. Every other word is F’this, F’that, Mother F’er. I just finished the first season of this series before putting everything to rest. In addition to language, is a quality production with strong characters. I especially liked Powers Boothe role of cities as the new competitive game. final comment – I would not recommend this, if your curiosity leads you to see this, rent it first and get ready for the ear ringing blasphemous.

I keep watching the series, but my wife refuses to watch because of the overwhelming amount of “blue tongue”. The plot is intriguing and the quality is good, but it is difficult to see everything when the air is full of curses and vulgar names of body parts.
